In the beginning, there was Monkey Go Happy. You needed to make a single monkey happy by correctly completing each level. Then it’s predecessor was created, Monkey Go Happy 2. In MGH 2 you needed to keep 2 monkeys happy and smiling. Now we have the latest in the MGH series, Monkey Go Happy 3. And you guessed it, this time we have a trio of primates that we must entertain by properly solving the puzzles.
With the release of Monkey Go Happy 3, Pencil Kids have created another point and click game that may be a bit mindless, but is fun to play. If you have played the previous games you know the premise, the monkeys are sad and you have to make them happy. By using your mouse you must click on objects in the correct order to solve the puzzles. There are action-based, hidden items, and escape-based levels that you must overcome to move ahead in this game. Variety is the key, with 16 levels plus an expansion pack.
Monkey Go Happy 3 is not the most challenging game for adults, but you must use your powers of observation to make it through. This is a game that can be enjoyed by many age groups.
One drawback to the Monkey Go Happy 3 is you must return to the menu every time you complete a level. It would have been a bit more convenient if the game took you directly to the next phase of the game. It also appears that there may be a bug that keeps you from being able to save your position in the game if you decide to take a short recess. Due to the fact that it does not take much time to progress through Monkey Go Happy 3, this should not be much of an issue unless you are trying to post a high score.
Built on the same standards of MGH1 and 2, I think you will find Monkey Go Happy 3 a joy to play or at least it is something to do when you want to kill 15 to 20 minutes. Have fun and enjoy the game.
